Alice

from France

The reflection times we had created the gratefulness and the realization of the experience, and also increased the skill to express feelings and thoughts.

I learned how to use some tools that I never used, what is event management and even how to speak a few words in Italian!

Evdokia

from Greece

I gained hands-on experience in permaculture and maintenance work - areas in which I want to be more involved in the future, as I always find it healing and calming.

I learned some things about myself and how I behave when I have to cooperate and live with new people. I developed through the month to be more mindful of my interactions.

Flora

Every single part had its own importance. The company that we had, the friendship that we created made everything very easy.

I enjoyed every little thing, every moment when I cooked for the group, cleaned, built a table, decorated for the festival, and did workshops with kids.

Everyone was amazing and I learned so much from them.  I learned that living in a community has its special magic and it's really refreshing from time to time.

The disconnection week was also very important to me because I never experienced anything like that before and it influenced my way of using my phone.

My favorite part of the project was gardening, as nothing gives me so much calm and confidence in myself and my skills.

Our eco Fest team was amazing! Thanks to coordinators we had not only fun preparing it, but also a lot of insights.

The disconnection feeling was unusual but at the end of the week, no one needed the phone anymore!

I couldn't believe I had to leave when the project ended. but I left a piece of my heart in the community garden. It's a magic place where time stops and all the attention is given to your personal growth.

I'm grateful for this month of co-living and hope to come to Bergolo one more time!

Salih

My English has definitely improved. Besides, I learned about my own ideas and what we can do with the team without my phone in nature.

We made a straw house out of wood, organized a festival, I worked at the bar, and it was a nice experience to communicate with the local people.
