▪️To what will our eyes open to?…

🌎 A new 1-month volunteering journey has started at Hopeland this week! Stay curious for the storytelling that will find you each week for the next month, from our project Eyes Wide Open.

🪺Slow and steady makes is easy. We have been landing with gentleness, enthusiastic minds and open hearts; preparing to make Hopeland our home and a whole experiential learning playground. Setting scaffolds for our new community has been a big part of this week; getting to know each other, building trust, sharing vulnerability, offerings and intentions. We have gotten the chance to familiarize ourselves with the beautiful landscape, the working mechanisms of Hopeland and also contribute with our own values.

🌿 We planted our first calendula seeds! And guess what? They will grow together with us during this month!

🏡Shared responsibility is a great part of sustaining a community. So, that's what we have done with our first blackboard meeting; choosing different responsibilities that will rotate every week. Among some are care for the animals, cooking, gardening and maintaining needs of the house.
