🌻 Week 2 ~ Community

Dear diary and our dear followers 🌞,

🌱 Rake, hoe, wheelbarrow, a lot of effort and knowledge met in Hopeland yesterday… what do you think what happened?

💯 YES, you guessed right! Our lower garden completely changed ☺️…but let’s start this story from the very beginning:

🤩 Yesterday our team grew for a few days, a team of interns from Roes Cooperativa came to us from Athens, who shot short short videos 🎬 about gardening in Hopeland (hopefully, we will be able to share some with you later), and also the amazing team from Liveloula.

🌳 Thanks to them we gained a lot of new knowledge about how to create garden beds in the most sustainable way, planting, preserving water in the ground during the hot season, what natural fertilizers to use, which plants around us are edible, and much more.

🎉 We also welcomed new Workawayers and the celebrated birthday of one of us. Thank you kitchen team for the amazing cake, we feel very spoilt here. We are sure all of us will miss everyday served breakfast 🥞 prepared with love from our kitchen teams, pancakes, porridge, fruit salad, hot ☕️ in cold mornings and let’s not forget warm hugs 🤗
